We do know that File Explorer in Windows 10 is up for some enhancements, but while direct details from Microsoft are still scarce, third-party sources are chipping in.

These guys from China have access to the newer builds of the upcoming OS.

And it appears that this new version comes with a number of subtle changes that are meant to ease the transition for users from smartphones and tablets to a PC. We’re already aware that the next Windows 10 build includes options to disable the Task View and Search buttons on the Taskbar.

These improvements are part of Windows 10 build 9879.

And now there are signs that Microsoft has included a revised Home section in File Explorer for users to pin their files and folders for quick access. It’s a subtle change but will come in handy.

Not to mention, help with productivity.

The Charms button that is now included in Modern apps also gets a small new change that replaces the three dot symbol with the popular hamburger icon that is available on Windows Phone 8.1.

Ties into making the transition easier, and all that.

Every little bit helps, right?

Keep them coming, people, keep them coming!
