So you have Installed Windows 10 on your Computer and now want to create a new User Account, then here is the complete Tutorial on how to create a new user Account on Windows 10.

You can Create two types of Account on Windows 10, Microsoft Account and Local Account .

Microsoft Account – You can use Microsoft Account on all the PC’s which you use and Running Windows 10 Operating System on it.

You Need to use your Windows live id and password to Sign-In with Microsoft Account on Windows 10, and After Sign-In with Microsoft Account :

• You can Install Apps from Windows Store.

• You will be Automatically Sign-In to Apps and Services for which you use your Windows Live ID for Authentication.

• You Can Share your Files on Facebook, Flickr and Skydrive.

• Your Computer will be Connected to Cloud & More.

Local Account – While you Can Use Local Account only in one PC, in which you have Created a Local Account, and you will not able to connect your Computer to the Cloud using a Local Account.

Simple Steps to Create a New User Account in Windows 10 :

Step 1 – Open Control Panel or PC Settings and Click on the Users.

Step 2 – Now Click on + Add a user under Other users.


For Adding Microsot Account on Windows 10 :

1 -Enter your Windows Live Email Address in the Box and Click on Next. If you Don’t have Windows Live Id, then Create new Windows Live Id by just Clicking on Create a new Windows Live ID .


2 – Now Your Microsoft Account is created Successfully, Just Click on Finish.

So now when you sign-in to Microsoft Account for the first time, you will be required active Internet Connection and enter your Windows Live Id Email Address and Password for Sign-In to Microsoft Account.

For Adding a Local Account on Windows 10:

1 – Click on More about logon Options.


2 – Now Select Local Account.


3- Enter User name, Password and Password Hint for the new account and Click on Next.


Note - If you Don’t want to create a Password then you can leave Password and Password Hint Field Empty.

4 -Your new User Account will be Created Successfully. Just Click on Finish.

Done! Now You Can Login with New User Account. You Can Also Change a User Account Type in Windows 10 .
